man oh man what a weekend! God really does have a sense of humor - the days previous seemed dark and temporarily overstressful, then the weekend was significantly more hope-filled.
friday was definitely interesting. a two hour visit turned into much more, including the chance to work on a diorama (found to be difficult as a kid, and still so) and help out a friend. then, of course, there was an amazing discussion time at fellowship that left all extremely impressed.
saturday was neat, too. after small group, i received a delightful surprise and was able to see the 95% completed diorama, as well as go gift shopping for the lovely couple and run miscellaneous errands in what seemed like no time at all.
sunday the laughs began in sunday school :) then, our church (specifically the English ministry) was blessed with a missions team from alabama, who led us in dynamic, uplifting and reflective worship. afterward, the chopsticks lesson was also entertaining.
four more days, OF!!!
