provided a ride for KL to the HAHS grade 10 orientation today, meanwhile having a chance to briefly catch up with van (what has it been, 4 years at least?!?) and navigate more hallways than sundays usually allow. as i listened to the principal address the students, it dawned on me just how long ago high school was, that much of what he said to the group would almost definitely be disregarded by older crowds.
i also had a chance to browse south edmonton common a bit today, yet found myself entirely uninterested in shopping here, as was the case three summers ago. why pay lots for what is essentially uniformity? moreover, there's no dire need, so i can wait.
i've opted not to take any online courses for the next quarter, as i'm still unsure of where my roots will be after that. however, with increased daytime to spare, i fully intend to become self-educated via the paternally created library.
