this long weekend, i've been reminded of just how precious the people are that i left when i went travelling this summer. thanks, God, for the time we all spent together, and the encouragement we can give one another as both friends and siblings in Christ. ah, so many highlights: forcing ourselves to finish "spud pizza", teamwork on "Cranium", endless rounds of Big2 / Uno / Taboo, wrapping jiaoji, watching "Bruce Almighty", picking raspberries....and of course, the laughter - OH THE LAUGHTER! maybe it's a good thing i don't have as many commitments this year.

here i am with sharon and rose, with mrs. larm looking on happily.

and here's the other side of the lunch table - mrs. larm, lynn and lesley (minus the photographer).

finally, here are the products of our morning of experimentation.

embarking on the final small town missions outing tomorrow, and i'm eager to see how the Lord will use this trip to reveal Himself to those who have not yet accepted Him as Truth.

bon voyage, ian! will keep your steps towards the unknown in prayer.
