as a result of overexertion and wiping runny noses of many, i've now lost my voice and come down with my own case of 感冒. now i truly understand why giving of yourself comes at a cost. one week till i leave and armed with much bitter medicine...so, God-willing, this too shall pass in no time.
not wanting to use health as an excuse, i spent the evening at Dream Tea House, helping Cody celebrate his birthday, with Joseph, Kristin and Sing-Yue:
here are Joeross, Cody and Kristin, all trying bubble tea for the first time.
the lids are so cute; you never know where the straw will end up!
Kristin's drink (i was the outsider with the only 'non-pink' mango bubble tea!).
Joe, Sing and Kristin in our intense round of 飛行棋. Chinese checkers went well, too...
