this Christmas break has been unusually memorable, but not atypical. it was wonderful to celebrate the union of two good friends in marriage, then witness many from our mandarin congregation making a public testimony of their faith, a breakthrough in the history of our church. the following day we were invited over for a "winter arrival" dinner. we spent Christmas Eve hotpot-ting with some close friends, then breakfast + Christmas service + dimsum + dinnerwithoneofthecutestbabygirlsever + ravingrabbitmadness. i was so thankful to spend time with my goddaughter and her family on Boxing Day, as well as think about the weighty "seven pounds." then, to a time of heartwarming fellowship with an amazing couple whose heart outpours "home sweet home." and last night was our small group's post-Christmas outreach gathering, filled with laughs, touching testimonies and a chance to present the greatest Gift of all.

solitude + contemplation + tears + cherished relationships + intentionally being understood & immensely loved & cared for + happy birthday, baby Jesus + my living Lord = EXCEEDINGLY BLESSED
