woke up with a mildly scattered sentiment when i realized that i left my keys at the office. habitually i take them with me, but i guess carpooling diverted my mind... lines were insane with less-than-pleased customers everywhere i went - i guess the stress of sugar surge (or lack thereof) is wearing thin on some people. no school for queen alexandra's LOGOS students today, which i thought to be interesting. ah, Truth always prevails.

the signs marked "Christmas - religious" in card stores are such a sad sight - not only has the concept of religion been stigmatized, but more importantly, His birth is what the joyous festivities are supposed to be all about, not the commercial lures that retail has laid.

project woes are yet to cease, but a mere seven days and they will be no more.

last night was the first chance i had to attend small group since the summer. there have been two additions - for the better! i realized just how much i don't know about the others, but that gives a potential springboard for further discussion and sharing. it was a positive evening with many laughs and a relaxed mood. the main lesson was about the importance that God places on character vs. the deeds that spring up from it.

had a very interesting and uplifting convo with GH afterwards that triggered much thought. hope we can see each other soon!

so, no Oro this Christmas. i'm somewhat saddened, but summer is a definite. i guess i'll meet up with CS then, too.

it's all white out...noooooo..... while i love the feel of fresh powder, and the light feeling in the air that comes with the first snowfall, i would much rather be soaking up the sun and going outdoors jacket-less. ah well, with winter comes the beauty of snowy nature. besides, it's a reminder that Christmas is on its way quite soon.

minor technical difficulties with my NT I online course were sorted out, thanks to SB's understanding. i haven't yet figured out how to correspond and work with LC, though - alaska is so far away!!

the beginnings of a praise chorus came to the front of my mind last night - perhaps He will inspire me to pen the verse(s) today...?

alright, so i'm testing this out to see how far it takes me. seems more people use blogspot than any other online journal, so i figured, why not? :)

work is going well. snowstorm is brewing - i guess this was inevitable. warm fuzzy from auntie stella should compensate, though.
