i'm sure we all get those days when we become frustrated with ourselves, sometimes to the point where it is annoying. frustrated because something happens that seems to revert us beyond all the steps taken forward. then, it's almost as if we haven't progressed at all. appearances can be deceiving. but not to lose hope - He's there and willing to guide us through it all.
moreover, love and giving must walk hand in hand, however tough it might be sometimes.

God has given me some hard lessons to learn lately, the most significant being that no matter how tough it is to accommodate others in certain things, it still has to be done...and with the right attitude. i'm used to working around others' schedules such that it works in their best interest. sometimes, though, it gets to be painfully overwhelming. i just have to trust that this is an alternate way of His blessing and shaping me.

planning for the future involves one significant decision after another. suddenly realizing i need to be aware of so many areas that i previously never gave attention to (eg. housing market, stocks and investments) is eye-opening for sure. however, having eased into my job by this time frees me up to do some of this essential "self-study".
